JUNO

JUNO is a young band consisting of five musicians who met at the prestigious Jazz Academy in Trondheim, Norway. Their catchy pop tunes combine complex groovy rhythms, rap and experimental improvisation. All of these elements result in an exciting and energetic live performance which during the last three years has been widely appreciated by the Norwegian audience.

Their long awaited and critically acclaimed debut album “Young Star” has finally been released the 24th of January 2020 on Jazzland Recordings. The record is produced by Kristoffer Lo (Highasakite, PeLbO) and presents 12 different tracks within their chaotic and energetic universe.

JUNO has played and headlined several of Norway and Europes’ biggest jazz and pop festivals: 12 Points Festival (NL), Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival (UK), Vinterjazz in Århus (DK), Moldejazz, Kongsberg Jazzfestival, Oslo Jazzfestival, Bodø Jazz Open, Trondheim Calling, By:Larm, and they have several gigs lined up for 2020 playing their latest release.
